How Are Dividends Handled?
A common misconception is that you don't receive dividends on CFDs. In reality, if you are holding a long (buy) position on a stock CFD when it goes ex-dividend, the broker will credit your account with a 'Dividend Adjustment' equal to the payout. Conversely, if you are short-selling the CFD, the broker will deduct the dividend amount from your balance.
The Myth of '0% Commission'

While you may not pay a ticket fee per trade, the broker still makes money through Payment for Order Flow (PFOF) or by marking up the bid-ask spread.
